Apple is building a new office in Manhattan for its iAd mobile ads sales team, BusinessInsider reports.
The new office is said to be close to Union Square. Apple’s New York iAd employees are currently located in the old Quattro Wireless office in SoHo, a space deemed too small and obscure for Apple’s stature.

Apple today released iPhoto 9.1, adding several new print product options to iPhoto ‘11.
The update also improves overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues.
* Provides the ability to create and order calendars in iPhoto.
* Additional letterpress holiday greeting card themes are now available.
* Fixes an issue that prevented videos downloaded from MobileMe or Flickr from importing correctly into iPhoto events.
* The update is recommended for all users of iPhoto ‘11.

U.S. International Trade Commission staff issued a memo stating their support of Nokia’s defense against Apple’s claims, Bloomberg reports. The ITC staff acts on behalf of the public as a third party in the case.
Nokia and Apple have been involved in a patent dispute for over a year, during which both parties lodged complaints against each other. The one in question is Apple’s lawsuit against Nokia claiming four patent infringements and requesting the ITC to block imports of Nokia phones into the U.S.
“The evidence will not establish a violation” of Apple patent rights, the staff, which acts on behalf of the public as a third party in the case, said in a pre-hearing memo released yesterday. Apple is asking the ITC to block imports of Nokia phones into the U.S., claiming they are infringing four patents.
A decision from ITC Administrative Law Judge Charles Bullock is due in February.
