In a statement to investors, Apple, Inc. CEO Steve Jobs said “We still have a few surprises left for the remainder of this calendar year.” after discussing the iPhone’s dominance over RIMM. Tomorrow, Apple plans to hold a special media event that will focus on the Mac. We’ve reported that Apple is planning a hybrid OS that will allow both Mac OSX and iOS to run on the same machine. Could this be the introduction of that technology? Rumors and leaked photos point to a new MacBook Air. But most interesting was a job post by Apple earlier this summer that claims a revolutionary new technology that will amaze everyone. Could this be FaceTime on the Mac that allows iPhone users to videoconference with the Mac? Or could we see something even more impressive than that?
Stay tuned tomorrow as Apple will host it’s special media event “Back to the Mac.”
