Adobe’s Creative Suite 5, expected to ship this spring, will feature Photoshop CS5.
This latest installment of photoshop should upgrade from the previous version’s 32-bit carbon architecture to 64-bit code.
According to macnn, sources allegedly familiar with pre-release CS5 report that many changes will be included in the software.
AppleInsider reports that interface changes will include tools like “content-aware” that will make it easier to remove an object from a scene.
The changes in Photoshop format are most relevant to those in the photography and graphic design fields.
This upgrade could result in more massive files that approach or surpass the 4GB limit of 32-bit code.
