Apple should be holding a special event in mid-September, centerd around updating the iPod touch with features of the iPhone 4, according to a report by Kara Swisher of All Things Digital.

AppleInsider reports that there were hundreds of people lined up waiting for the flagship store to open its doors. Earlier this year, Apple announced plans to open 25 new stores in the most populous nation on earth.
