O2: iPhone 3G sold out in UK.

O2, the UK’s exclusive iPhone carrier, announced on its website that the new iPhone 3G is currently sold out.

O2 had just begun accepting pre-orders for the device hours before running out of stock.

The website reads:
“Due to huge demand for iPhone 3G, we’re currently out of stock online.
Come back on 10 July for more information.”
