Apple has informed resellers that MacBook, MacBook Pro and iPod supplies will become limited in the coming weeks, AppleInsider reports.
The company plans to decrease production of these models and therefore suggested that resellers bring in 4 weeks worth of their top-selling iPod models as well as 3 weeks worth of their top selling notebook models.
“Based on past experiences and knowledge of their own inventory sell-through, those resellers who received the bulletin believe the notice is a strong indicator that Apple will begin introducing its holiday consumer electronics and Mac offerings sometime in early to mid-September,” AppleInsider notes.
This news strongly suggests that Apple is getting ready to roll out a refreshed Mac and iPod holiday line-up during the first half of September. New iPod nano and iPod touch models could be introduced along with redesigned MacBooks and MacBook Pros.
