Apple notebook update soon?

A report reveals that Apple has just increased its order of notebook-use printed circuit boards by 20% in this third quarter.
Commercial Times previously reported that Apple had ordered up to 3 million MacBook displays for Q3 of 2008.
As Apple is said to have increased its procurement of notebook-use printed circuit boards (PCB) by 20% on quarter in the third quarter, with most of the ordered PCBs being high-interconnect density (HDI) boards, fellow PCB makers in Taiwan are expected to see big boost in corresponding sales and profit, DigiTimes reports.
Rumors suggest that Apple has been working on new MacBook Pro models that include some of the MacBook Air’s features. Apple is expected to include Intel’s recently unveiled Montevina processors in new notebooks.

At last, something other than 3G iPhones to think about!
If one looks at the latest Sony and DELL PCs you can get an idea of the new hardware that may show up in new MBPs.
Look for the new intel processors, bigger hard drives, faster standard graphics, HDMI port, LED backlights..all pretty standard. Dell is now offering as a standard (not an option) Verizon fast data cards built in. I suppose APPLE will go with AT&T;.
Display resolutions will be 1440 x 900 minimum.
