Apple leads customer satisfaction report.

According to a recent customer satisfaction survey, Apple remains the highest ranked firm in customer satisfaction for personal computers.

The second quarter survey conducted by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) in the University of Michigan shows a record score of 85 for Apple, 10 points above its nearest rival Dell.

“We haven’t seen anything like this before, where a company scores 10 points over its nearest rival,” said Claes Fornell, the head of ACSI.

Apple continues to defy the trend in customer satisfaction for personal computer while the industry as a whole has been declining in that field, particularly due to poor Windows Vista feedback.
